Has anyone else seen this?
I went and saw it over the weekend and I was a bit disapointed. The reviews i read called it epic so my expectations were for a Mongolian Braveheart or something.
I was a bit off. It is about the rise of Ghengis Khan. I was thinking we would have more battle scenes and some epic fighting and there really was not much in the movie at all. I will say that the battle scenese that were in the movie were done VERY well and some of the best i've seen in any movie.
I think even if my expectations were in the right spot i still would have been disapointed in this movie because the plot seemed to wander too much. It was not focused enough and at some points seemed to just get lost.
It was not terrible but i would not strongly recomend it to people. Anyone else see it? If so what were your thoughts? Just wondering if i was the only one that saw it this way.
