SO I'm flying out to NYC tomorrow for a Yankees/White Sox game on monday. One last time to see Yankee Stadium before it's gone. I'm pretty sure it'll be raining. The forecast changes hourly from t-storm to few showers and everything in between. My question is if it's raining and they call the game before it starts will I still be able to get into the stadium to see monument park and the grass one last time?
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.

  • it sounds like you should be fine. last game i went to they were calling for t storms and there was a huge one about a half hour after we got there. they had an hour and a half rain delay but eventually got on with the game.

hope the weather holds up and you have a good time though!

I'm not sure about the deal with Monument park. I here from diff. people that tix are sold out and people try to scalp them on craigslist, etc. Your best bet is to ask xavier mcdaniel. Enjoy either way ;)

I'm sure they're soldout. Maybe you'll get lucky and find someone that doesn't want to go even for the lure of the final week of the stadium.

Last nights game agains the Rays was cancelled and they rescheduled it for tonight. We waited around inside the stadium and people were still walking through monument park. They announced that it was cancelled after about an hour and half.

If the game gets cancelled hopefully you'll be able to stick around for when it's rescheduled.
