Good game for Favre and the Packers.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 45 yards in the Vikings losing effort, and he dinged up a knee. MRI tomorrow.

I was hesistant on saying they were contenders, but after today I can say that they are actually a pretty balanced team. They just need to find a good running back. Patriots would still destroy them if they both made it to the bowl.

Favre is finally getting the protection in the pocket this year though!! That is the MAIN reason why he is doing so good. He's not worrying about getting his next concussion. ;)
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

The players around Brett are finally doing what they are suppose to do. The whole team is getting better every game IMO. Brett never lost he ability to play the game. He just didn't have anybody around him. Now he has some serious weapons on the field. The running game is still coming along ok.

They are nowhere near being as good as the Patriots. But I would love to see Brett go all the way and shock the world and beat New England. Go out on top. :)

Big 2 games coming up at Detroit and Dallas. They need to get 1 of the 2, and both would be great. If they beat Detroit the division is just about locked up unless we pull a Minnesota. Beating Dallas would give us the edge for homefield which I think will determine who represents the NFC in the Super Bowl. Whoever that is will be HUGE underdogs to the Pats, but that's why they play the games.

Hopefully they can learn from Washington and cover TO. If Washington learns to cover him after his 2nd, or 3rd TD, they win that game. I think GB can shut him down cause they have physical corners in Woodson and Harris that will bump and jam him on the line and will cover him one on one. No cover two BS where he'd beat our safety's all day.

  • Brett Favre once again led The Fighting Hellfish to a healthy victory, bringing us to 7-4. Captain Favre was assisted by Chester Taylor, just added to the roster. Eli Manning continues to complain about the splinters he has been getting the last few weeks

Until he throws 2 picks before getting knocked out of the game next week. Oh wait, that is what happened last time he played the Cowboys.
