As I get older I'm really enjoying PBS television. They always seem to have a classic concert playing each nite or some very interesting documentary. I don't watch much television anymore. But when I do I check what PBS is showing first. lol
Any onther PBS fans?

I recently donated by purchasing the Rolling Stones Flying Circus package.
A great deal for me and a good donation for PBS.
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
I love antique roadshow.
Seriously though years AGO I had seen an episode where he went to Cinque Terre in Italy and I was like if I EVER go to Italy I am going there. So we put it into our plan when we went and it was AMAZING!! I would go back in a heartbeat.. so in a way I owe that to PBS
I sure do.
They were in Milwaukee maybe 2 summers ago. We went but didn't get on t.v. We had drawings from the 30's of downtown Milwaukee. Found out they were worth a few hundred dollars. That made my mom really happy. Her father got them when he owned his bar. Somebody paided their tab with them. lol
All my friends laugh that I watch that show. But I learned some great tips watching his show over the years. He's goes to Europe 100 days a year for the past 25 yrs. I want his job.
They have great kids programs, NOVA, etc. too.
I do too He is SO nerdy though.. I love IT!!!
Oh that sucks.. we ate at a restaurant he sugggested in the Cinque Terre and it was SO good... and the fig panna cotta was possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten
Whenever they have a item that dates back to the 1700 to 1800's and its somehow Native American related. It's always worth big money. I remember they had a older man that had a Native American blanket. It turned out it was worth over $300,000. They guy broke down in tears cause he had no idea it was worth that much and that rare.
Also whenever the Kino Brothers are showing some peice of furniture you know it's big money.
Ok I'm showing that I'm a real dork for roadshow. But I love it. lol
i love that your'e showing the roadshow dorkness...i thought i was the only one here!!
i remember that guy with the blanket, that made me cry, seeing him get so emotional about it.

I remember this one too.
The best antique roadshow ever...This woman had a huge dated (1700's) Chippendale armoire....it was incredible. She had it refinished and the appraiser looked like he got shot, or stabbed explaining it because if the piece had it had it's original patina in tact would be worth over $250,000, but by refinishing it, it's value was reduced to a mere $10,000...
She didn't look too happy either... kinda like old yeller just died...
hehe....Oh man...
