So some sad news. One of our doggie parents has died. PJaddicted lost her battle with breast cancer. She hasn't posted in a long time but I thought I'd let old timers who remember her (and Petey and Monty!) know. 

This is just very sad news! I always enjoyed the warmth and wisdom she had.

have not been posting for awhile now, life happens! Sophie is okay as well as I am. Just some things in life one can not change. Need to go with what comes my way. "I will ride the wave, where it takes me" I will not go into details but this place has been a life saver to many of us! I may not be posting as much as I once use to, but I just want you all to know, that you guys are the best!  Good times and bad times everyone has each others back!

I hear ya!  The last six months have been VERY weird for me and I don't check in the way I used to.  But I'm glad to hear that you and Sophie are doing OK. 
I'm kinda stressed right now, to put it mildly, but the fur-kids are doing great.  Scout and Stella are best buds and always make me smile.

as rumored, Piper got a sister today. Winnie is a little over nine months old a we got her because she doesn’t have the herding drive her original owner was looking for. The first hour after the girls met was a little hectic. I’m sure there will be plenty more craziness but they seem to like each other.

How did the first night go?  Stella wasted no time in stealing Scout's bed and he let her get away with it.

it's pretty apparent that Winnie, at nine months, is more mature than 3.5 year old Piper Piper is a little shit....everytime Winnie found something to chew on, Piper stole it...Winnie already walks a leash better than Piper and tolerates being brushed.

it is what it is...Piper is the alpha dog. I came home from work today, half expecting Codie to be in tears but all three girls were mellow. we just took P&W on another walk and Piper was way better than usual....maybe some maturity will rub off on her!

Oh, so much cuteness.  It's so interesting when you add a second dog - it some ways it's more work, but then I love the companionship 2 dogs have with each other.  It's so sweet (and fun) to see.
