She should make a good friend to this old man who still has the energy of a puppy after 12 years.

Edit - His name is Seamus.

So cute, both of them.  Congrats on your new arrival.  I bet she'll be great for Seamus.

Just got this little girl for my better half as a birthday gift. She's still too young to take home, but we are excited. A couple more weeks to go.

Edit- still deciding on a name.
    Gah!  What a cutie.

Happy Sophie.  Scout plays like this and always looks like it's the happiest thing in his world.  I'm never fast enough to get a pic.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will pass them along, but ultimately it's up to her. Did I just read recently about some health troubles you were having with your eye? Don't want to hijack, but I will say many hugs and good thoughts from this household out here in the desert.

j/k with the name suggestions.    We usually give our dogs people names--Sadie, Riley, Tess, Pete, Django, to name a few.
Thanks, I appreciate the hugs and thoughts.  They go a long way helping me to stay positive.

Oh yes, Piper is an Australian Shepard isn't she? Is she a mini? It's hard for me to tell and full sized Aussies can vary in size. Ours is still too young to leave the litter so I don't really have anymore pics yet. Two and a half more weeks before she comes home.

@Who Princess I didn't want to insult your choices so I played it safe! :)

Technically she's a red merle but she has some grey in her. Her back right leg is solid copper color. I have met quite a few of them, and I think they are all a little crazy, no matter the color. Incredibly intelligent and energetic dogs for sure. We are excited. My friends uncle trained his to guard the beer cooler. If you tried to get a beer without him present, it would show its teeth.

Oh for pup's sake, I am in love!  I think Wob is as well.

She strikes me as a one-word name type of doggie...and despite the color talk, Blue seems to fit.

Love that I find myself smiling as I hit post.

It usually takes a lot to insult me. Besides, I keep telling everyone to name their dog Princess and nobody ever takes me up on it.

She was actually kicking around names like Copper, Rosie, and Ginger. How can you not be in love with that thing?

I think I heard Wob is a good babysitter, yeah?
