    This isn't a very good picture but I want to introduce my new friend Frost.



    Frost is an Alaskan Malemute. A very large one. Makes me think of a Shetland pony. He lives at a residential drug treatment facility where I'm currently teaching a class on Wednesday nights. Sweet as can be, he's like a giant puppy.

    Frost is one of those dogs that like to talk, know what I mean? So is Scout and we've had several other dogs that did. When I first met Frost, he walked up to be petted, then said something like, "Ro ro ro ro ro ro." I petted him some more and he threw back his head and said, "Ro ro RO RO RO ro ro." The staff said, "You must be OK, he doesn't talk to everybody."

    Every week when I walk in, he's hanging around the lobby, usually lying in the middle of the floor. I'll just say, "There's my buddy!" and he walks over to me and starts talking. The other night, when I came in, instead of getting up he rolled on his back for a tummy rub.

    My class ends next week. I'll miss seeing my new buddy.

    Scout and Penny look to be fur balls like Piper.

    my buddy's samoyed likes to talk too. I think it's common in those "arctic" breeds.

    OMG that pibble pup is so presh! I freaking love pibbles and bullies.

    My miss Pearl Piggy turned 2 a week ago... My sweetest little bff! I really could not love this dog anymore than I do. It's not physically possible!
