    I offered to send a box of children's stuff from my boutique to a woman who is dealing with an illness, and she said they had enough "things". A week ago, people were asking for things for her children. My feelings were hurt. That might be the last time I offer something to a stranger. There are plenty of children that would love something special just for them. Maybe I am being too sensitive, but...

    I recently had hail damage to the house, the insurance company sent out a contractor for an estimate, and I had got an estimate on my own, my estimate was 2000 grand cheaper than the insurance companies contractor, so the insurance offers me a cash settlement which was several hundred less than my estimate if I want to use my estimate (minus the deductible) or we use theirs minus the deductible. I offered to use my estimate and they waive the deductible and they save $1500, they said no. Something is seriously fucked up and no wonder insurance is so costly, and believe me that is a WTF moment.
