I have to write a manual

I have some pretty thought provoking projects that I have to do for class. One of them for my Human Development class is writing an entire manual. The manual is supposed to be a guide for parents of children ages 6-12, and dealing with a topic of our choice. I picked to write my manual on how to effectively deal with divorce. I chose this topic because its near and dear to my heart but also because its such a big influence in many kids lives these days. It's pretty exciting to get the chance to do something like this. I'm interested in graphic design and dabbled in it in college as an art major, so that's helpful when trying to make something aesthetically pleasing. So that coupled with major research hopefully will produce a pretty fancy manual.
I'm babbling.. Anyone have any topics that they think should for sure be addressed in my manual? I have about 14 topics so far, but always looking for more info!

Hum.. I never really thought about that.
I suppose someone could steal it, and publish it :(
i was going to suggest you share your 14 topics thus far to save on redundancy, but if you are concerned for copyright issues, i guess not.
divorce is a very big topic and so many facets to deal with for the parent-child dynamic.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
decides2 has a point. ask someone who handles Intellectual Property rights at your college.

I mean, they aren't mind blowing topics, so I'll share them.. Anyone could come up with the same. I guess if this wasn't something I HAD to write for a grade, and I was looking to get this published, I'd be a little more careful. I'd be more worried about sending the actual design out, and how I processed the info within the topics.

In all seriousness, I wish I had access to something like this sometimes. Everyone tells you it's hard, but no one can ever tell you how difficult and harrowing it can be.
Good on you for aceing it
