gray... i thought you would like that commercial. everytime i hear diet dr.pepper i think of that commercial. i wish they would play it more.

I used to LOVE that commercial! They never play it anymore..

    so sad!

I'm gonna go crack open a Diet Dr. Pepper.. (And no! not the chocolate barf kind!)

I agree with you so i did a google search and there is a site with various DP foods

Mid way down is a recipes for Dr Pepper wings. It won't let you copy and paste the recipes or else i would post it here.

i get my dr. pepper wings from a place in austin called "pluckers"
and the dr.pepper museum serves dr.pepper made with pure cane sugar as opposed to the saccharides. it tastes pretty much the same except maybe a tenth of a percent less sweet.

i gave up dr.pepper for lent last year. i had serious caffiene withdrawals. like the shakes. and i would see someone order a dr.pepper and i wanted to go and punch them, take off with it like a thief in the nite. (ok maybe a bit of an exxageration.

and you know gray it took me a long time to remember where i had heard that song from the commercial before. i finally found out it was from the muppets.
    mean people suck!
    but nice people sw****w

haha! yup the muppets it is! I have a serious caffeine addiction for real. If I don't have a can of diet soda in the morning when I wake up, I have a serious splitting headache by 11am. Its truly sad.

OMG! the commercial did make it look so tasty. I've been looking for it! Did you get it in a grocery store. I want to try it though, just out of curiosity. Thanks for the heads up. I will try to find a single can in a deli! I hope your brother is doing better btw.

Thanks Allie, he is doing much better. Almost back to his normal self. Just a little skinny still, but back in school and back to snow boarding. He is a lucky lucky boy.

I bought it at a normal grocery store. Do you live near Chicago? I still have those 23 spare cans.. haha.. Feel free to take them all!

I saw in another thread your dad was in a car accident. I hope he is okay now!

I don't know what you mean but he hit a tree, at the end of November. I've been MIA since then so I don't think it's a new one. and he's been hospitalized since then, first in acute care and now in rehab. He has to go to a nursing home.

HAH! LOL. That is so bogus. I know when I saw the commercial my jaw was like

I am really bummed out but I feel like I have to taste it to feel like I can empathize with you. I love Dr Pepper. The Cherry vanilla is not that great either. I prefer Diet Vanilla coke.

Damn fine stuff....smooth beyond belief. We ordered a couple of cases of cans for my father last year. Yummy!!!! I can only imagine how good it tastes out of a class bottle. :p

  • Dr Pepper = The best drink ever
Diet Dr Pepper = The second best drink ever
Diet Dr Pepper Berries and Cream = Yum!
Diet Dr Pepper Vanilla = Double Yum!
Diet Dr Pepper Vanilla and Cherry = Triple yum!

Diet Dr Pepper Chocolate Cherry = GAG ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god, what a let down. It seriously tastes like that chocolate flavor that they make cheap chapsticks smell like, when they are supposed to be chocolate..

Ugh, now I have 23 other cans of this.. gross!

I didn't even know there was such a variety. I love regular old Dr Pepper -- it's my favorite drink (soda ;) ) Thanks for the warning.

I love going to Chik Fila. I'm mainly a coke product kind of guy but Mr Pibb is just a pale comparison and Chik Fila does it right. They have coke products and they have Dr Pepper and now you can get diet dr pepper there too :)

    It makes me happy :)

Mr. Pibb sucks. It's not even a Dr.

You know what? That 12 pack is still in my house, still laughing at me when I'm thirsty. I use it as a door stop. That's about the only use for that cherry chocolate mess of a drink!
