It was 60ish around here today, too! I think it'll be in the high 60's tomorrow. It's awesome to be able to take the baby out in nice weather, but it's weird and unsettling at the same time.

its not called 'global warming' anymore.. its 'climate change'.. this is cos certain parts of the globe are getting colder... like in my house tonight for instance... freezing.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

And I heard that global warming was just hype.........

I'd prefer snow this time of year and warmth only when the sun can accompany it

This may have to do with global warming. No doubt, but the effects have gone on quite a while (duh, didn't mean to state the obvious). What I meant to point out is that in the late 1980s I attended college in Michigan, and I remember a January day that was in the 50s and people were wearing shorts. That blew my mind. It's going to be 70 near DC tomorrow. I just hate how this pans out in the summer. . .

Last week Wednesday I went for a bicycle ride here in South Florida, Palm Beach. My fingers literally froze in my 25 minute ride it must have been at least 35 degrees with the wind chill.

Very unusual weather, although thunderstorms are still common. I've seen snow thunderstorms around here.

It's back 80 during the day and 67 right now In Palm Beach. Last week with the hihg winds the surfers had a ball for sure. Right now this time of the year I'm used to Boston weather but it might be warm up there too.

yeah, but with all we have here and I do think we have a lot both for recreation if we are speaking about fun things to do and we also have a lot to offer in regard to colleges and job opportunities here. where else can you people watch and get paid to do so?

But to truthfully answer your question that begins with, "who needs CA when you've got balmy chicago?" I coulde use an ocean--a real life ocean that wasn't called a lake nor was it shut down so many times in the summer due to the bacterial levels being unsafe.

The grass is always greener on the other side, they say but I do think it is much better to live somewhere with the total understanding that you are not on vacation , to know that life still comes with the the tasks involved in living but still knowing all of that, depending on how you feel about where you live, you'd rather do it in the places you dream of living in than those which have become mundane..........
