    2003
    66k
    1.8L turbo
Fully loaded - Black leather, heated seats, sun roof, new stereo put in by me with a USB port for MP3 player (Ipod, iphone, etc..)
    Automatic with triptronic
I think the tire tread is in good condition?
    No accidents
I change the oil every 3k miles to keep my warranty valid. It just had a recall fix done this week for free.
I bought it used, I'm not sure about the previous owners, I bought it from CarMax.

**I love the car, I only want to sell it so I can afford to buy the new Tiguan that just came out. There's nothing wrong with the car. I just can't afford both.

Sorry, I will only drive a manual transmission. But that's a sporty little car. I'm surprised you're selling it. The 1.8 4 cylinder engine should be giving you fairly decent gas mileage for a peppy, turbo-charged sedan.

you should have bought our manual Audi TT we sold in Feb. I can't drive stick, so that had to go. ;)

Yeah its a great little car. I love the Jetta, and if I don't get the right price for it, I'm totally keeping it.

Audit TT sounds a little out of my buying range. Your husband must be pulling in some real bacon.

we both make decent money, but we're not wealthy. He sold the TT and now rides a bike to work.

Aren't you a daycare worker or something like that?

I'm a Nanny and a Personal Assistant. I also make well above the normal going rate for a Nanny in this area because I speak English, have a college degree, I am enrolled in graduate school, I have a bunch of experience, and I market myself well.

You'd be surprised at what a Nanny can make. Some families are willing to pay big bucks.

    Anyways back to the car..

Have you tried Craigslist or Autotrader.com?

If you're looking for an accurate valuation of your car, I recommend NADA.com. Kelly Blue Book is overrated.

I'll give ya $15 dollars for it. That's all I have.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I haven't listed it yet. I was pretty much joking around on here, I don't expect anyone to buy it off the PJ board, but hell, if something did come of it, it would be great.

I just got the pricing on the Tiguan today, so its all in the very beginnings of trying to sell. We used Craigslist to sell the Audi and that worked out well for us, so I'll probably go that route again.

Yes, and I won't make enough money. I'd make much more privately selling it, since I can offer a warranty for almost 2 more years.

remember "high tower" in police academy ripping out the front seat of the car and driving from the back seat... thats what my 6'4 ass would have to do in that car :D

ps... you need to learn how to drive stick! :)

Pre-2005 VW's have a difficult resale value, however, due to their being pieces of crap compared to post-2005 volkswagens.

In 2005 Volkswagen revamped their quality control processes after acknowledging that their reputation as the worst cars on the road since the mid 1990's was due to problems in their manufacturing process.

After looking at their website, I noticed that there is an optional Dynaudio stereo package available. GET IT! Dynaudio are up there amongst the best speakers in the world.

Think of Alpine, and then multiply that by 10 in terms of sound quality, and that's Dynaudio. People spend $1000's putting Dynaudio systems into their cars. If you can get VW to throw one in, you will not regret it.

13k with the extended warranty, which is valid till the end of March 2010 or 92,540 miles.

Less without the warranty, but I'd have to work that out.
