I've still yet to ever finish the movie!

I did read the book. And I've probably seen the whole movie...just not in one sitting.

Oh, you need to see it all at once :). I caught it a hour in on cable and then later caught it from the beginning. It's still on actually. I never read the book though.

I dunno I tend to have it tied with The Basketball Diaries, the only two films I like with him in to be honest.

Yeah, those are really the best performances. Nothing else he has been in has really compared.

When I first saw this movie I didn't know who Leonardo Dicaprio was. I thought he was actually mentally retarded. Either way, it was a great performance. Johnny Depp was great too, of course. I'm actually trying to think of a movie where either of these guys didn't impress me. Oh wait, what was that one about the boat that sank? Hmmm...

Not cool. I'd imagine you'd not find a lot of people finding making fun of retarded people funny on this board. Just a head's up.

Ehhh... the movie does that already. Believe me an actual case of retardation, not funny. But, LeoDicap playing a mentally retarded person and being hit in the face by Johnny Depp, is funny... to me.
