Well I do love NYC..there is no place like imo.

NJ isn't so bad. I live in a shitty part but the less built up parts are actually pretty, but I don't have enough money to live there :p

I forgot to add this: I can't stand Bon Jovi. I think I am the only person in Jersey that doesn't like him.

ewwwww....I hate Bon Jovi too. I have an aversion to him. Yuck.

There are areas in South Jersey that are pretty rural. The area near my work is mostly trees or fields...not a factory or shopping mall in sight...not what most people picture when they think of jersey.

I find those little facts interesting. I think and i could be wrong, that the first Les Paul electric guitar was made in Jersey.

There is a different accent. My parents lived in North Jersey and we moved down here when I was 4...so I sort of have a blend of the 2 :p

I worked with someone who lived in South Jersey and that's when I first noticed it. People from there seem more laid back. I guess because they are further from NYC..lol.

HA, that is so true. I was born and raised in bergen County and EVERYONE wants to get where they are going yesterday. But the funny thing is you don't realize it because everyone here is driving like a maniac. Once you get out of this area we really stick out. Quick little story....

After 9/11 my fathers company was destroyed in the collapse of the towers and he was transfered to Harrisburg, PA. We went out to visit a few times and the people out there couldn't of been nicer. But by nicer I mean they actually stopped at stop signs. They would let you cross the street if you were already in the crosswalk. They would actually do the speed limit (which sucked). Even random people on the street would say hello, or good morning. People in this area are to consumed with talking on their cell phone and very rarely having an ounce of manors or politeness.

There is always a bear loose in NJ :). That's because we are infringing on their territory. People need to take care of their garbage properly too.

I went to Atlantic City for the first time. I don't gamble so I just went to the outlets. They have some upscale shops in the casinos but I can't afford that stuff.
