Irony

I kind of was inspired by something someone said about "irony" I realized people misuse this word a lot, when they refer to something as being "ironic"

    e.g. "The anvil was heavy, and tasted irony."

    This is the form of the word I was actually referring to.

    i·ro·ny1 1. the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply,

    e.g. “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.
