I was watching a bunch of episodes today on the National Geographic Channel. I need this guy for my dog..she hates other animals..and I can't get another dog, which isn't really a problem but it's a problem when we walk her or bring her to the vet.

These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

Lukin is the biggest show pony/drama queen when we go out and there are other dogs. The whining and carry on that go on are shamefully embarrassing and of course because he's got staffy in him people look at him like he's going to eat their dog and chase down and eat them too.
I'd love to be able to get him to stop doing it.
Yeah, Caesar fix my doggie too.

my dog is a staffy mix too...:D. that makes it worse...She loves people though but people will get freaked when they see her. I want to tell them she will just kill your pet not you! But yeah it's nerve racking bringing her places where there are other animals. Dog parks are out of the question of course.
Oh he's a big old sheep in wolf's clothing.
He makes a big noise and whines and barks and looks all feral and then whimpers like a biatch when any dog comes near him to sniff!
He gets along pretty good with other dogs really, no fighting, lot of funning, but in the beginning we've got to do the whole "I'm so tough" crap.
I get the same with Lukin, always people fall into two camps, those that think he's gorgeous and bowl up to pat him completely unconcerned and those that eye him suspiciously like he's a killer or something.
The big show isn't helping him win friends and influence people.
I can take Lukin to the dog park, but I usually try to only take him when there are no other dogs around and if there are other dogs, he stays on his leash until they're gone. Of course if he whines too much, I just walk away with him. I try to tell people over his racket that he's a big old softy and he won't hurt a fly but I'm sure they don't believe me.
It must be really hard lg, with your girl, it's nerve wracking enough with Lukin and he does like other dogs, not that you'd know for all his carry on.

If you can't get him to make a house call
He does have books out to help train dogs

Yeah Im sure he does...but it wouldn't be the same. She's not a bad dog really, it's just that she is so aggressive towards other dogs and animals in general.
Leathermandi: Yeah the leader of the pack was already established
You have to be calm/assertive

yeah nothing works...when she sees another animal and gets crazy it's impossible to get her attention
