Do you throw out pictures or to you keep them? I know of people who will throw out old pictures of themselves or family. I think that's kind of wierd. How about exes do you throw those out?

I can't bring myself to throw out a picture.

Keep it for a while and if you find the picture keeping you... throw it out.

I may keep one pic or two of an ex, but they all get thrown out. If they didn't want to keep you in there life, then why keep a reminder in yours?

keep it, cherish the good times, and maybe even bad times as well- no need to linger over them, life is short. :)

I can never throw away a picture. They're like records of history. Whether they're of good times or bad times, they still tell the story of your life.

I can't bring myself to throw away books or music either.

Can't throw out pictures of people.

For pictures that I don't want to look at or come across at the wrong time I simply put them in the folder I have for folks I don't want sneaking up on me in an unguarded moment, along with letters and other bits and pieces. The files are clearly labelled with the name of the person on the front so I only go to them if I'm specifically looking for something otherwise they sit in the storage box, safely out of sight out of mind. :)
    NOPE!!!

I could never throw away a picture. Especially of a person. I keep all mine in boxes and even if I don't want to look at them, they're there for those that do. I consider it my responsibilty to look after them for my children. Just cos some of the memories are sad for me, it doesn't mean they will be for them. It's their history too.

I chuck away pics of exes but all pics of family. I went to a school reunion about 5 years ago and met a girl I was with when I was 16 (35 years ago!!!!). She had a pic of us both together and told me she always kept it in her handbag. I found this a bit creepy.

    yeah that is creepy.

jeanie and urban hippie..I feel the same way...It's just weird for me to throw away pics of people. I usually just stash pics I don't want to see all the time someplace I know I never will stumble on them.
