New turntable, easy question

Just picked up a Numark turntable. The model is TT-1250, and some searching shows its no longer produced but it looks like I got a decent deal on ebay ($40). The only problem is I'm an idiot 
Below is the arm - I'm assuming the part I'm missing is a cartridge? Does this just click into the four headers I see inside the end of the arm? Any cartridge suggestions?
