working, though it's all overcast out so that removes the temptation to be outside i suppose, although i'll take a break in a grove of trees later so that'll be my taste of outside

I can't wait! this weekend we are driving from Boston to western mass to see some friends.. the folliage is gonna be insane. there is something SO perfect about western mass in the fall

that's a great way to word it!

leaves are no where near ready to be fall models down in lower NY, and it's all grey-overcast here today in any case. i will spend another day working like mad, probably overtime...again......and next week shall be HELL. however, by the 15th...clear sailing....just in time for when NYC/long island leaves show off their fall finery.

eh, i've got a new camera - yikes almost a year old already now! - that i really need to investigate and play with....so i won't really know what i'm doin' either.

i just look forward to the weather, the colors, the cooler temps...and being able to truly enjoy my weekends, not just want to sleep!...so i may have the pleasure of leaves modelling for me too.

The colors are what catch me too. It's almost comical how excited I get by the right light shining through some pink or orange leaves.

i remember you once commenting on the art wall about how much i photograph leaves.

i simply cannot help myself. the colors, the textures, shapes...and then the light! eh, *light* is probably my main love in photography. sure, of course shape, form and composition...sometimes color although i am more about tonality......but what REALLY catches my eye is always about LIGHT.

Saturday was my day out and enjoying the fall. Drove up to the Catskills/Delaware River and drove through the countryside. Nothing like early autumn and the rolling hillsides with the leaves changing color.
