The dirt looks like it has green beard stubble in it. :D:D

That's all...it just made my morning. :p:)

    :):)

I think it's because of the type of soil I bought because it's growing in all the places I put the extra dirt under and on top.

I thought it might help this year and it did. *whew*

That's cool. Hey I'm happy if I have a plant for a month.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
  • Plus you have the pleasure of the smell after you've cut it! It's win win!

That's really great. We have so little grass in our backyard that we refer to it as the "dirt pit". :D

I enjoy my lawn in the summers. Sitting in the patio swing on a sunny day with a cold iced tea looking at the grass! Ahhhhhhhh.

I can't afford a house, which is fine, 'cause I really dig living so close to a downtown area. I have park grass, but since I have two dogs I view it and the lower levels of trees much differently than I ever viewed anyone's personal yard. :o

I do enjoy mowing lawns while drinking beer. I offered my services to people I know with yards. They don't think I'm serious. I think they think I'm crazy!
Walking can be a real trip

    I'm with you !
I planted the grass last year and it was nice seeing it growing.
Last week, I put fertilizer on it and now it's growing two times faster and the green is darker and more beautiful...

I wish I could get my yard to looking nice. It's gonna take some work and some time though. This is the first summer at my house and the people that owned it before didn't really take care of the lawn at all. It seems that they didn't believe in weed killer/fertilizer as there are dandelion and hand bit weeds everywhere. Apparently, they planted lots of trees so there wouldn't be much grass to cut, but then they got tired of the trees and now there's a lot of stumps and roots in the yard. I've got about all of the extraneous roots out, but I've still got to get 3 fairly large stumps out. Maybe by next summer it will look nice....
