ELF Makeup...(not santa's helpers!!)

Gals: Anyone hear of or use this makeup? It is only $1.00 each so makes me wonder how good it is but what the hell, it's only $1.00!!!

    never heard of it.... the $1 price is a little scary....

    i notice that they don't give the weight/volume of any of the products....

    maybe they're really tiny... like elf sized, or something... ;):D

    Don't waste your money.
    If you are looking for a good inexpensive brand where you can try lots of colors, try Milani. It is inexpensive and good pigment.
    Their Luminous blush is a dead ringer for NARS Orgasm blush.
    And their glosses are not sticky.

    ugh...........I just spent $102 at the MAC counter.

    Yeah, I really did get some good stuff. I have about 12 plastics that I need to recycle.

    The melt down the plastic in the containers to make things like the displays and whatnot....not new packaging.
    I am embarassed to tell you how many empties I have....but remember, I worked for them for a long time.

    have u ever seen 'TEN' makeup? i was out a couple years ago with a friend and i saw this whole section full of makeup. i bought like 3 lipglosses JUST for the name. :D oh and its only a buck.....

    the last time i went into the store, the girl told me that you can now turn in your empty containers for lipstick, lip gloss, or eye shadow!!! i'm not sure if it's just at that store or what...but i think i'm in desperate need of more "motif" eye shadow, my favorite :D

    i stick to M.A.C myself. i bought that TEN lipgloss but its still in the package! M.A.C is way too good. I have a friend who is an artist so she hooks it up. :) did u ever see when they hadd the "lowlight" silver....eyeshadow i think it was? i bought the 'stone' lipliner just for the name. :D

    never saw any of those...i'm going to have to explore more when i go into the store thursday. i always stick w/ purples and browns usually...i want to get something a bit different for my thursday night dance party in orlando!! maybe they have "green disease" eyeshadow ;)

    i did hair shows for a couple years, and mac artists always did the makeup for the company i "modeled" for...i was soooo envious of the giant suitcases of product that they had. i could play dress up for weeks!!

    I'm all about Mac for eye makeup...but Clinique for powders, blush, foundation.

    I recently ordered about $15 of E.L.F to check it out. Here are my thoughts.

    I really like the plumping lip gloss - it stays on as long as my MAC lipgloss......

    The mascara is ok and doesn't smudge, but if you leave it on a long time it flakes off in big clumps.

    The pressed powder is very heavy and I threw it in the trash :P

    The mineral powder foundation is similar to Bare Minerals but doesn't cover quite as well. It isn't bad though for $5.

    The nail polish seems pretty good - goes on well and have had it on my toes all week without it chipping.

    The flavored lip balm is really nice - I got the berry one and it smells wonderful!
