Should I enter to be a K-rock girl?

In case you're not familiar, K-Rock is one of New York's radio stations. http://www.923krock.com/ The contest is to be a K-Rock girl, which basically means just attending two concerts that they host or something. Contest details are on the website.

If I entered, I'd be the only one with their favorite band as Pearl Jam! Heres my best picture: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2259515770090057997frjGYC

I basically want to enter just to see if I'd get anywhere in the contest, but I'm afraid entering something like this would be career damaging. I wouldn't be entering a slutty picture or anything, but I'd be associated with such people (just look at the people who have already entered, ugh).

I'm a senior in college interning with a top accounting firm, and wouldn't want to lose that. But I'm curious if a "cute" girl could beat out those "hot" girls. Should I enter???

    I think you're a really cute girl. But, I think you also bring up a good point about the career stuff. I'd be really careful what you do with that kind of promotional radio stuff. As long as you are smart about things, and think them through, you'll be fine. Just obviously don't do anything you think might come back to bite you in the ass. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders, and as long as you can back out of anything that becomes shady, I say good luck!

    If you were asking us if you should go on Rock of Love 3 or something, I'd have a much sterner warning ;)

    i think you could for sure win. you are very pretty and you would represent pj well. the only thing is there could be a stigmatism with the job that might impact your career. once you are settled in a job it might not matter that much, but when you are looking for a job they might not hire you over someone with equal credentials but no pictures on the internet.

    i think, being the station that K-ROCK is staffed with the staff they have , that they are looking for more of a bikini gal as well.

    Why not go for it? I mean, you're not a K-ROCK girl now, so the worst that can happen is you don't become something you already aren't! ok, that even confused me, and I typed it!

    after looking at the current contestants, that's surely a crew I would not like to be associated with.....just my opinion. seems really trashy.

    I wouldn't do it unless you feel that you have a VERY GOOD chance of winning. Things like this can haunt you forever if they take a turn for the worst.

    some of the contestants look like they want to be discovered by Maxim magazine. I would not do it, that's just me!
