I fucking *HATE* them. I've been on the phone with Delta for 20 minutes. I am now talking to the third person. I have been put on hold at least a dozen times. FUCK. I'm pissed. And to make it even more difficult they have such thick accents there's a communication barrier. So much for "customer service". :rolleyes:

Oh, I got through to actual people...but they were stupid people...who made me repeat the information each time...and I'm willing to bet that this call center was located in India (not that there's anything wrong with that) due to the accents. Yep, verizon killed me on the phone a year and a half ago. It took 4 days and about 8 hours on the phone for them to be able to matriculate my msn dial-up account to verizon internet.- Busted down the pretext

Verizon, quite possibly, might be the dumbest company on the planet. I've had FIOS for over a year, having to fight tooth and nail to get the lines laid in our industrial park at work, and every time I call with problems with the copper phone lines they want to sell me FIOS.

Fucking morons.I'm not sure I understand your question, though. Are you saying Verizon laid the fiber in your industrial park and now you're trying to get your office connected? Considering it's an $18 billion venture, I don't think they are trying to fight you on signing up; they would like as many people as possible. However, with all of the franchise approvals required, involving millions of homes/offices, it's a pretty time-consuming process. It's going to take some time to roll it out to the consumer.
If you are saying you DO have FIOS, then why do you even still have copper lines? If you're on FIOS, everything should be running on fiber and copper lines would be a non-issue.
I don't think people in general tend to enjoy call center experience...seems pretty unanimous across the board.
And Joe, it was a year ago, get over it.I thought you were done venting the frustrations after the blog about the matter.
