So I have two sick kids today....gnarly colds. The thing is they both took 3+ hour naps this morning and have a ton of pent up energy. Do I let them run around and burn off some energy? The 2 year old literally can't sit still...right now she is running around the living room in circles. HELP ME! LOL!

They truly are ratbags. LOL!!! (That made me laugh out loud!)

We have to go pick up their big sister in a hour, perhaps I'll let the 2 year old out to run and play on the playground.

I just thought you were supposed to rest when you're sick.

I always let Annabelle's energy level be my guide. If she wants to run, I figure she needs to run!

    Good luck, lol!

Annabelle goes for a morning run, back and forth in the living room, every morning around 10 AM...lol. And when she visits my in-laws, she does laps around their dining table.

I figure as long as there isn't a big bad cough happening, a little activity (or a lot, in the case of a 2 yr old, lol) is not going to hurt.

hahahah. Thanks! I think the cold is catching up to her. She's draped over her chair watching Diego right now.

    no problem :)

I love that we can come on here and ask random questions like this about child care. It has helped me out so many times!
