I found this site recently and I *LOVE* it. What a excellent idea!! You can swap your old paperbacks (and hardbacks, and cds, and dvds!!!) and get new ones from other members! The only cost is the postage (about $2). I LOVE THIS SITE!!! I'm stoked about it, can you tell???

Aww...sorry to hear that! That's a bummer!! :(
Oh and I'm "ReaderChick" on there.
Yeah, I reread the books I LOVE...but books I have the just "ok" I pass along to friends and family. Alot of times, though, I end up with a bunch that nobody wants and, quite frankly, my bookshelf is so full they are piling up all over my room!!
At the place where I'm currently working they have a bookswap scheme. It's pretty cool - all the staff bring in paperbacks they don't want anymore and they just put them on a bookshelf and other staff take them whenever they want, as long as its returned. I'm thinking of taking a load of books I don't want anymore and dumping them there lol.
