I found this site recently and I *LOVE* it. What a excellent idea!! You can swap your old paperbacks (and hardbacks, and cds, and dvds!!!) and get new ones from other members! The only cost is the postage (about $2). I LOVE THIS SITE!!! I'm stoked about it, can you tell???

Yeah, I reread the books I LOVE...but books I have the just "ok" I pass along to friends and family. Alot of times, though, I end up with a bunch that nobody wants and, quite frankly, my bookshelf is so full they are piling up all over my room!! :eek:This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Sounds like a great idea - is it only for the US?
At the place where I'm currently working they have a bookswap scheme. It's pretty cool - all the staff bring in paperbacks they don't want anymore and they just put them on a bookshelf and other staff take them whenever they want, as long as its returned. I'm thinking of taking a load of books I don't want anymore and dumping them there lol."We have to change the concept of patriotism to one of “matriotism” — love of humanity that transcends war. A matriarch would never send her own children off to wars that kill other people’s children." Cindy Sheehan
