I like the drink Naked puts out... Acai smoothie or something like that. Actually, my friend just got done with his masters in nutrition and was raving about this berry. That's why I started drinking it:o... I eat or drink whatever he tells me to.
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

its one of those hip fruits used in everything now a days... like pomegranate was. i blame it all on cranberry which is the original fruit in everything. i think Dane Cook has a joke about it.

indeed it is 'hip'. the purple machine by naked is my favorite of their products, but i especially like the acai smoothie at jamba. granted i work there, but i've had one most of my shifts this summer and the past few years. lots of people don't like the taste, but it really grew on me to the point of addiction. one of the real benefits is the taste is really powerful so you don't really need to have sherbets, etc like other juices would need to improve the taste. you can throw all sorts of powders in there and it'll still taste good. i'm clearly biased, but i love it (helps that it's primarily free for me too admittedly).

unless you are in really poor health - no one food is necessarily going to make a significant difference ... nutrition and diet is not that simple ...

my readings have said berries are great natural source of nutrients and vitamins that are key to overall health ... i eat a lot of berries and such especially in season however, our overall health has many contributing factors (genetics, environment, stress, etc.) ... so, for the same reasons why we can't say for sure smoking will give you cancer, no one can say eating acai will do this or that ...

You see, if it gave me mind blowing orgasms I'd be sold. It's just not magic enough for me.

ha ... yeah ... energy (especially later in the day) is related to diet for sure ... cut out the high processed and high-glycemic foods and you will find that your cravings for "bad" foods will go down and that you should generally feel more alert and hopefully, sleep better as well ...

in any case - i would say the pros of the berry far outweigh any potential con ... so, if you enjoy it - have an ackeye day!

    Well, it's definitely different.

For me, it's kind of a combination of blueberry, raspberry, a very mild chocolate, plus a bit of an "earthy" flavor.

It's hard to describe, but I really like it!

Also, after you drink a serving of Zola (see link at begging of thread) you have an instant boost of energy.
It's no BS either. I drink like a gallon of coffee a day and it gives a nice subtle energy rush that helps (me at least) mentally focus.
