    The marketing has been pretty interesting for this movie. I hope it turns out to be good, but usually when a studio decides to use this gimic marketing the movies end up flopping.

    this is so true.

    i have heard so many rumors about this movie. some i thought would have been pretty cool and others, well, others that just suck imo.

    like how jj got the 'idea' for the monster in this movie...he was in a toy store with his son and saw a godzilla toy and thought it was time america had it's own monster.

    i think it will be alright. i mean, we don't just get the monster but also the fact that it a infects people somehow, judging from the trailer.

    i am excited to check this movie out.

    i just wish it was rated R. you know they had to hold back in a few scenes to get the PG-13 rating.

    No way in hell I'm seeing this movie, and that five minute clip confirms it. If you look at it, it's a movie filled with nothing but 9/11 imagery/themes: the explosion seen from the roof, the building collapsing, the dust clouds, people running in the street etc. Hits a little too close to home IMO.

    The reason they do that is for DVD sales...you know, so they can label the DVD as the "SUPER UNRATED SPECIAL COLLECTORS DOUBLE DISC SUPER SPECIAL x2+5 EDITION!!!!!333111!!!!".
