Ed breaking bottles

did anyone see ed break the bottle of wine and yell at the stage hand about the fans not working.. then during evo. he says somthing about being the first to sweat..... but after that set he just walked off stage so he was really pissed

    I didn't notice this but it definitely seemed like something was wrong tonight. I thought it was due to the crowd but obviously it was technical problems.

    I was talking to someone that got a setlist and he said Who You Are, Porch, Hide Your Love Away, and Indifference were crossed off.

    Even from way back - front of section 4 - his foul mood was obvious. What did he shove off of the stage with his foot?

    The small fan by his mike stand wasn't working. The stage guy came over and turned it on. I saw the whole thing. I was in the 4th row right by Stone and had a clear view of the fan.

    :( seeing eddies temper flare up like that was a little concerning.
    from up front we saw him launch his bottle of wine, kick equipment off the stage & scream at stagehands.
    yes yes we know all about the angst and the passion that fuels the band blahdy blah...but come on...shows are supposed to be a GOOD time!!!

    i mean, someone give the guy a footrub or something so he can chill out.

    :) see you all monday night, hopefully under better circumstances and lighter moods!

    yeah ed got pissed off in columbia due to multiple guitars being out of tune...
    Which i can see the plight as a musician, that must suck! Seems like he has been gettin a bit more pissy in his old age :D Rock on though.. thats ed for ya.

    He was in a great mood though mostly, kind of back in forth. He was really impressed with The columbia crowd .. Kept talking about "all the beautiful faces"

    Columbia was so intense... Ive never seen the band members make so much contact with the fans. Usually ull see them grazing the crowd a bit but i noticed EVERYONE in the band making direct eye contact for long periods of time with multiple fans. Tampa was the first time i was ever on Stones side and actually got to "rock out" with him.. its always good when daddy pearl jam is having a good time :D They were really searching for the energy and they got it from every person that night. The more and more shows i go to the more and more i realize how important that is to them. They need the energy from us or its useless...





    Maybe the wifey needs to whisk Ed away for a nice de angering vacation :D If not, she can take me... im so tired of being in savannah! These fucking tourist ruin my summer every single time!
