    Its not because she's a woman. I'm female but that's what I want to do (soda instead of bourbon), and my husband is all about 'let's clean up the living room'. Its different personality types, and it also depends on what kind of work you do I think. My job is very physical (I teach aerobics and haul my own equipment) and when I get home I'm exhausted. He teaches engineering, so he doesn't get physically tired.
