Is straining your eyes at a computer screen so soon after not a bit silly?

    Not at all mister know-it-all.

Had it done this morning. Was a bit hazy for a few hours which they said it would be, Doc said I could watch TV use the computer, drive, whatever after about 8 hours. Hell, I'm going back to work tommorrow after he checks my eyes at 7:30am.

If I thought I knew it all I wouldn't have asked a question. I would have said "you are silly".

  • Get in your car, get up to 100 miles and hour on the highway then stick your head out the window and yell "I CAN SEE!" at the top of your lungs

well maybe not...stick to the computer...

I thought you are supposed to stay away from anything that strains your eyes for a few days like a pc? Atleast, thats what my doctor told me. The eye is healing and you don't want to do anything that can cause it to heal funny.

I cheated a bit, but only looked at a TV or a screen for just a few minutes at a time when I had it done.

had my follow-up exam this morning, and I was reading most of the 20/20 line on the eye chart. I kind of have halo's around lights right now, but he said that will fade over the next few weeks. You won't regret it!

So jealous....I can never imagine having 20/20
    Good for you. :)
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

It's un-frikken-real. I've worn glasses since I was 6 years old (now 28)...and I've never seen better! They eye drops every four hours are kinda annoying, but that's only for a week.

Congrats! Everyone I know who has had this surgery has been happy. Glad you are too. :)
