anyone seen this Demetri Martin kid on Comedy Central?

He's one of the funniest "new" comedians I've seen in a long time. Very orignal, somewhat dry/bizarre delivery, but funny as hell.

one of my favorites jokes so far went something like: "I was shopping for clothes, when the sales clerk said "if you need anything, I'm Beth." Wow, I had never met anyone with a conditional personality. If I don't need anything, who are you? Mike?"

If you haven't seen him, check him out, he's talented.

    I've seen his show, and his work on the Daily Show. Very funny.

    "I don't have anything against gay people, I just don't think it's right that they claimed the rainbow as their own. I don't think one group of people can own refracted light."

    Is he still on the Daily Show, or is that how he got his start? I don't watch it, but I would if he was on there often.

    I remember that joke too. He went on to say something about wearing a Rainbow shirt, that read "Not Gay: But Supportive"

    He is hilarious! I have been following him for a while now, I have a cd and a dvd of his downloaded.

    The one I just watched talked about wearing Camouflage in the woods vs wearing it in the city which just make you stand out as an asshole. But if you wear it in the woods you have to call out "Hey, Is there an asshole out here?"

    I just saw him a couple of weeks ago on tv, and I had only heard his name before. He is fucking hilarious!

    i'm pretty sure he just joined the daily show this past season...fairly new, but some pretty funny stuff. he's usually on once a week i think...at least before the writer's strike.

    He hasn't been on since the show came back without writers. before that, he was on sporadically. No real set schedule. He's usually pretty good on TDS, but his Comedy Central special was outstanding, and his best work that I've seen
