Post-Game Quotes:
- John Tortorella on the team…
“As I’ve told you all along here, it’s a good group of guys. It’s just trying to get momentum on your side and finding a way to win the hockey game and we got it done tonight.”
- Henrik Lundqvist on tonight’s game…
“There was a lot of determination going into this game. We knew we had to win this one, it was a must win. We really stepped up as a group and they kept coming. They’re a good team and you have to respect that, but we scored some big goals tonight.”
- Marc Staal on returning to the lineup…
“I thought I would be more nervous than I was. I felt pretty good going into the game and I think the confidence is going to grow the more I’m out there and the more I’m in the game situations. I’ll feel a lot better next game.”Reading 2004

Loved Boyles goal....it was like "WTF boys ...just walk in and take the shot"If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0

Brassard looking really good ,
and got to mention Zuccarello.
As little as he is,......he is like an annoying little bug --that wont go away.
Even against guys much larger than him, he's all in it.
I believe he had 2 or 3 assists last night. For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

I thought the guy from Ottawa would be a finalist. But he did play half the games Henrik played.I miss igotid880

crazy to think lundqvist played 43 out of 48 games, that is an INSANE number. niemi played just as many and bobrovsky played five less than both.
going to be a toss up between lundqvist and niemi. both team's offense had the same production and relied heavily on their goaltending.
the rangers clearly made the playoffs because of lundqvist, but without watching many sharks games, i imagine you can make the same arguement for niemi as they just squeaked in by two points.0 -

Henrik could have played 1 or 2 more games also. Rangers would probably be the 5th seed if he had. I think those last few games where the offense busted out with all those goals might hurt him.I miss igotid880 -
