Since the last 2 Stanley Cup Champions were of the Original 6 it's a gaurantee the RANGERS will win the Cup in 2012.

Not that they take playoffs into account. But this shows why Henrik should be MVP. Without him the Rangers are probably 4th or 5th seed.I miss igotid880

For some reason last night I was really fixated on Henry last night. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a goaltender play further back in the net than he does. He pretty much dares shooters to beat him on the corners. On the flip side he doesn't handle the puck very well. Makes me almost wonder if he's a naturally right handed shot and isn't comfortable turning over the stick to move the puck.0

lundqvist has always had a reputation of playing deep in his net. it's on every team's scouting report and the only way to beat the guy is high glove side. bad stick handler too. but not nearly as bad as richter was at handling the puck. every time richter came out to play a puck, i think you had 18,200 collectively holding their breath in the garden.
lundqvist is so hard to beat in the shootout or breakaway because he is so comfortable playing deep. he comes out and just flat out out waits the shooter and forces them to make a move literally on the goal line. at that point you have no option but to shoot it into the guy's pad.0 -

I know what you're saying. I just never really noticed it until last night. As a former goaltender he pretty much is the exact opposite of everything I ever learned. He doesn't even come to the top of the crease on faceoffs. If I was a youth hockey coach and my young goaltender said his idol was Henry I would justand :fp: knowing my work was cut out for me.
