hopefully a change with respark him ...plus we are short on forwards

    and some xtra cap...good move

    Wolski has had ( 2 ) 20 goal seasons,
and he holds the distinctive record in the NHL
for most shootout goals scored in 1 season..
He was pretty good the last two seasons I believe. Good trade.

    Wolski, 24 years old, 6' 3 " , 215 LBS , 2 time 20 goal scorer, , last season career high 23 goals scored ,
and shares the NHL record for most shootout goals scored in 1 season.

  • From the Rangers:

Henrik Lundqvist recorded an assist on Brandon Dubinsky’s goal at 4:15 of the first period to extend his assist streak to three games, and become the first Rangers goalie ever to record an assist in three straight games (goalie games played, not team games).

Based on the way the first period was played, especially the first 10 minutes or so, I thought we were headed for 3-2 or 4-3. Maybe it seemed different on TV, but I didn't think they sleepwalked. I liked what Wolski did though he didn't score.
