After 9-11 the government set up a special e-mail that asked people to send them information if they knew anything...well airhead me wrote them an email saying that we needed protection from all the people that own the gas stations... I thought they were little terrorist cells and one day they would organize and grab all of the guns they had hidden beneath the gas stations and they would take over all the neighborhoods...I pictured me and my family affaid to leave the house while they had control of the neighborhood....I few months later I got a reply from the gov saying thanks for the information...I wonder if they made fun of my message
back then I believed it...today I think that it is a silly idea, I think....

I don't blame you. After 9/11, I was on an exaggerated paranoid trip in regard to just about every middle eastern person that I saw. Maybe it's the media, maybe it's the truth, maybe it's me; who knows, really.
I know one of the things that bothered me is that the three assholes who bombed the Twin Towers bugged the shit out of me because they were so fucking patient to live here and wait for their crazy extremist bosses to tell them to act. That drives me crazy because I am so impatient.
In hindsight I see that my feelings about this were unfair and wrong but then it made sense.

yeah...see....something to make you think and go hummmmm
yeah, didn't I see your pix at the post office????????
(btw, in my sick sense of humor, I thought that the funniest thing to do to people when I was at the post office was to point at one of the pix and say to my toddlers --at the time when they were---"look, there's daddy!". I know that it would have been fucked up but so funny to see the looks on the people's faces. But I never had the guts............)
