I'm heading to Denmark soon for business, I'm hoping to get some time to go places or hang out. Any suggestions?

Christiania surely is something you don't see in every city. People still think it's just a place to get weed, but it's actually friendly and artistic place, at least the last time i was there.

They've tried to "normalise" it recently, so these might be the last chances to experience at least some of the free vibe that's still there.

Thanks, that place definitely sounds like a cool place to check out. Very different from what you'd see elsewhere.

too bad i don't smoke weed though...

It's not legal to sell weed there anymore, so at least it's not as open market as it used to be. It's the small businesses cafes, blacksmiths etc. they have and the people that makes it nice. A true city within a city. I hope it's still like that.

copenhaagen is really fun! it's a beautiful little city. there are hearts on everything and tulips everywhere. the people get out of work at like 4pm and go drink carlesberg in the parks. it's like a fairy land.

Copenhagen's fantastic... such a friendly little city. We found a great little blues bar called Mojo when we were there... left it at 5am and it was still going

The ice bar is a few doors up from it (that's how we stumbled across mojo) and also well worth a visit.

Here's a link to the icebar... If I remember correctly it was 20euro for 40 minutes but WELL worth it for the novelty. You'd be best asking for it if you're looking for directions to mojo... cos mojo is tiny and possibly not well known... but just a few doors from the ice bar.
