Is verry good! I just wanted to give a shout out to the guy that runs the vinyard. I know he posts on here and hosted a viewing party for the new dvd this last fall.
But, I had the gewertzheimer (sp). The only thing is that it needs to be sold in more states (I got mine at City Vines in Billings,MT).

I Love it especially those from our luxembourgish vineyards. If one day you'll find some in the states buy it!!!!
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

It isn't an issue of being a US Riesling. It has to do with the type of Riesling. There are a number of different styles in Germany, Austria and France as well. Alsace produces a really nice, drier Riesling. For a US produced Riesling that is drier, try Chateau Ste. Michelle's Eroica.

I'm more of a red wine guy, and I frequently drink Trey's Spellbinder. I think it is a really nice red blend that is in regular rotation at my dinner table.

For a cool profile on Trey and the Sleight of Hand winery check this out:

The link I posted is on Avalon Wines, an online retailer specializing in Oregon Pinots, and Washington State wines. I don't know where you live but wine shipping laws are getting less socialist year-by-year, so perhaps they can ship to you. Here's their Sleight of Hand selection:

Did you guys know the person who makes that wine is a memeber of this board? Trey, show yourself, and discuss your wine, and bring some more down to Bend!
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me...GUARANTEED!

    thank you!
    i'll check it out.
it really is my preference to be able to buy local, b/c the shipping costs on wine are pretty damn pricey, and rightly so with the packaging requirements. and i'm in NY. :)
