I'm possibly the worst when it comes to proposing fantasy trades, but here is what I proposed.

I am proposing trading

Nicklas Backstrom
Ales Hemsky
Tim Thomas

for

Corey Perry
Evengi Nabokov

Thoughts???

oooh man, thats a tough one. Backstrom and Thomas might wind up getting you more wins than Nabokov. It depends on what department you need help in. If you need wins I'd keep Thomas and Backstrom.
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

  • The problem with Thomas is that him and Fernandez are basically splitting the time in Boston and I haven't been able to pry Fernandez away in a deal with another team. At least Nabokov (if he stays healthy) would start the vast majority of the games for the Sharks. I would have two backups in Huet and Legacy. I have the same problem with Huet though since he and Khabi are splitting time in Chicago.

i'd reject that deal ... have no interest in hemsky or thomas ... it would basically be a backstrom for perry and nabokov ...

and perry is probably the best player in the trade depending on how your league scores ...

so ... in essence - offer it and hope he accepts ...
  • Are we talking Backstrom Wild goalie or Backstrom Caps Center? I'd say it's a good deal if we're talking Caps Backstrom, kinda a push if it's Wild. Perry is the best player in the deal, and Nabokov will probably end up as the number 2 fantasy goalie behind Louongo if he stays healthy and San Jose keeps rolling. Thomas and goalie Backstrom are playing out of their minds and won't be able to keep this up all season. I'd say it's a push though if you include Hemsky, as a 3 for 2 deal.
