It's like Gitmo, but there's TV, and the food is better.
Actually I have no idea (if it wasn't obvious by now)....
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
This reminds me of a conversation I overheard at work way back when I was working through college.
The department manager had gone to her high school reunion over the weekend. Apparently, she had grown up on an air force base. She was talking to a co-worker and said something to the effect of, "....there's a sense of comradery between military housing kids that I've never experienced in any other area of my life. It still exists even so many years later."
