Yay indeed. Have two ladies ever looked so good kicking so much ass. Props to China too, they played well despite it being over in two matches.

Those two were brilliant once again...I couldn't help but watch every one of their matches this year.

BTW - I love when our athletes stick it to China. May-Treanor/Walsh were #1 in the World coming into the Olympics, yet the Chinese team they beat last night was the #1 seed in this tournament??? The bs injury the one Chinese girl supposedly had and needed a medical time out for was lame as well.

Probably because I'm not a xenophobic knucklehead. They played two close tense matches that could have gone either way. They played Walsh and May as well as anyone.

The best part of the match was when May-Treanor killed one right off the face of one of the Chinese girls...

The commentator was trying to be nice there too and said that Misty hit it right into her chest. I would have said she spiked it right in her face which would be the truth.

High-larious! You must not read many of my posts if you are accusing me of random acts of kindness. I usually wish ill-will on humans world wide. I don't like people at all but that has nothing to do with race or gender.

It is very cool they won.

Was the chinese girl faking an injury in an attempt to change the momentom? It did not work so i guess it does not matter. The commentatos seemed to think she had a reputation for doing things like that.

Can't get too excited for a couple of professionals who pull in hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars annually. This is one of the lamest Olympic sports there is. Other people are in the pool 8 hours a day or running endless sprints in the Texas sun (yeah, I know - they're pros, too). These two are at the freakin' beach! Whew! Glad I got that off my chest :D!

The matches may be a bit boring at times. Also a bit short, but I dont think people realize how tough it is to be running around in the sand like that. Both May and Walsh are amazing athletes......
  • Pretty dominant couple. They've only lost one out their 80 something previous matches.

U.S. women's volleyball team beat Cuba, which was a big suprise. Brazil in the finals might be a bit too much to handle.

USA-Russia in men's semis will be an exciting match Russians being the favorites.

    Jealous much?

Seriously, this is by far the best female sport out there. They are hot. They are in bikinis, and honestly it's a f'ing awesomely entertaining sport.

    Kudos to the inventor.

I prefer watching young, fit women jumping and running around a beach in bikinis to two men in tights rolling around the gymnasium floor trying to pin each other.
Then, again... I'm a guy. What do you expect, right?
