It depends. Has it been growing in size?

You should probably see a dermatologist.

no weird growth ... they look like freckles ... too much sun, perhaps?

have you gotten a lot of sun? Did they just start showing up?
If it just started- it could be an allergy- but its been pretty nice this week.

I would definitely be concerned about an adult getting birthmarks, since they are formed before birth... :o

    Smartypants.

    They are called sunspots.
Too much sun on your face.
    Nothing to worry about.
I have always been really good about keeping the sun off my face.
My freckles come out like mad in the summer.
I did get a new sunspot this summer tho.
I keep trying to wipe it off. lol

They may fade over the winter. But you may be stuck with them.
Prevent future spots by wearing sunscreen on your face and a hat.
Ever see old people with spots all over their hands?
Age spots, sunspots, etc...often it is overexposure to sun.
You are pretty young, right? If you are getting sunspots, be careful. If your skin is fair, you need to be really careful to prevent skin cancer.
    Be careful with that, ok?

Ah ok, that's good. It's probably not a big deal then. Just take Trixie's advice. She seems to know her stuff :)

I woke up with a red brownish spot on my arm one day. It's still there.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

Aloe Vera. Not the bottled alcoholic cosmetic shit but the plant, get yourself down Texan way..........though are Italians that susceptible to sunspots? I'd see a doctor to check if it's melanoma, even if it is it's usually no big deal, best to be sure.
