American Gangster.

This piece of shit stars Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe in what seems like two separate movies until (2 hours in!!) their paths finally cross. Poorly written and ultra-boring, I could have easily found something more constructive to do with 3 hours. Like, ummmm, trying to bite my own toes or maybe trying to bite my friends' toes. Denzel Washington was his usual "so-handsome-that-I-must-be-a-good-actor" self, and Russell Crowe was out-acted by his spare tire. AND what a horrible ending. JESUS, don't waste your time like I did. Watch Gladiator for the 47th time and call it a night.
Jam out with your clam out.

I thought it was good with the movie being based on a true story and shot in NYC.

Rule of thumb: if the trailer isn't even funny, the movie has got to suck!

Will Ferrell makes a minimum of $20 million per picture. Maybe as much as $50M. Teachers start at $25,000/yr.

That must be why he releases at least one to two mediocre-at-best movies a year.

They're mediocre, but I still love them... :D
And before his first step... He's off again...

    In actuality:

Frank Lucas never testified against any police officers, and none were ever convicted for the activities depicted in the movie.

Frank Lucas never personally went to Vietnam. He sent someone else to go.

Frank Lucas was never Bumpy Johnson's driver.

The coffins were used only once to transport heroin. The heroin was usually shipped inside of furniture.

Can't believe anyone find Will Ferrell funny anyway. His films suck. Same with Napoleon Dynamite guy and films he's been in like Benchwarmers.....htf can anyone find them funny I just can't work out. And another one...Superbad....I was waiting for the funny bit then it ended. The dancing bit was more cringe-worthy than funny.

I thought it was good but it didn't live up to what it should have been. Should have been up there with heat and training day but ended up in the middle somewhere. Still buy it though.
