What caliber of criminal lives by you?

hmmmm.....notice how mostly ALL of the crimes are of a sexual nature. maybe that's just my neighborhood.

    Fuck I'm from Australia, What do I do.... I may have a criminal living next door and I will never know......

    Though there was a lady murdered near my house in a quiet suburb a few years ago which is scary...

    Well, I am not letting the kids out of the house anymore. That was really disturbing. I live in the suburbs, and the city of which we are a suburb has 577 offenders. This is not a big city so, that is a high ratio. Offenses against children was the highest, rape next, followed by other, which around here is murder.

    it's a *family watchdog* site, so i would think? it really focuses on criminals of a sexual nature? i also don't know if it's legal for other criminals to have their pictures plastered everywhere, against their rights? i think sexual offenders are the ONLY ones that the public has been deemed easy/free access to their names/photos/addresses. i could be worng tho. i think people/families are far more concerned about such things, especially against children...than worrying who ripped off a store, a company, etc. murderers would be something to know too, but i don't know? if it's legal to have their info everywhere......

    They should be all sexual in nature. I think sex offenders are the only criminals who have to actually register with the town they live in. I could be wrong though.

    The house a grew up in, in my happy suburban neighborhood, turned out to have been surrounded by growhouses. I didn't learn this until they had already been raided :(

    I know how shitty my neighborhood is without looking at that site. I just have to look around.

    I live within blocks of the local jail. When it's release time, some of the folks run up the grassy hill by my place to turn tricks and do drugs.

    I have a food bank behind me which brings a parade of interesting characters up and down the block every weekday.

    A men's transitional housing center is up the block from me. :o

    And, I'm right by the freeway, under which dozens of transients make their "homes".

    Many of the people who pass by my apartment are friendly and seem fine enough. I feel for a lot of them. Others are clearly out of their minds and/or seriously high. I see a lot of couples who look like the typical pimp-crack whore pair. :rolleyes:

    A couple of weeks ago a man was bludgeoned to death two blocks from my place. Just last week a man did a lewd dance for me as I was carrying home groceries. He proceeded to yell a bunch of crap at me and when I finally got to the light across from my place, I looked behind me to see that he was running to catch up to me. :eek:

    We have a nice apartment, but a shitty neighborhood. We live here for our dogs. But, I don't know how long I can put up with this shit. :(

    The condo I live in now is in a nice neighborhood, but about a mile or two from where Cardinals player Sean Taylor was murdered. So sad...

    wow, eye opener for sure. I knew that there was one child rapist living close by - but turns out there are three (one was a woman!) and they were all within 10 blocks of my kids' school. So sad that people can do stuff like that to kids.

    oh whoops, the majority of those squares are schools or parks.
