When you go back after lunch this boilerroom will have moved and they won't be there anymore. So, you won't need to ask about salary. :)

Ok b/c you're the voice of reason?

Still care to talk about demanding a wheel chair accessible room when you didn't need one?

Acoustic I'm with you. This is VERY funny. I think it is even funnier that we know about it. If for some reason I did this I would NEVER tell anyone. :):):)

Talk about a lack of motivation.

You took a job without knowing how much it pays?
    Sorry but thats just dumb.

i'm selling ad space for community newsletters.

it's not as glamorous as it sounds.

I'm starting to think that they are just in the "thinking" stage. Like they're not sure if they're actually gonna hire me.

    I hope they dont.

You might want to also clarify how much of your salary is based on commission. I've worked in major magazine ad sales where it's base pay + commission, totaling to a nice $100k+. Unfortunately, I was just an assistant with a meager salary.

just got home from my other job...the one where I actually know how much i make. Which isnt much, by the way, which is why i took a job without really knowing the pay. I'm desperate and as long as i'm not inseminated baboons, its fine by me.

now, when i got back from lunch before, the boss had left to go to the dentist. so i just did more work....and shuffled papers around in order to look busy, a talent i have mastered.

One of the underlings told me I needed to call the boss later in the week to set up something official. ya see, im in school and its finals week so I guess they figured on just trying me out today, then after school BS is finished, it starts for real. Supposedly I'll be getting paid training wages for todays work.

my, how my thread has grown....thanks for your interest, all of you.

Hope it works out. In the future though, make sure you get a straight answer on the money situation. It shows that you think you are worth something more then just a temp.
