Wow, they are tied for the wild card, have had a rough spot as of late, but that's tough. I hope they miss the playoffs. Ownership are idiots, though I'm sure players will re-assess themselves and maybe play better.

  • that was a real shocker to me. i know they are basically in freefall, but they are tied for the lead in the wild card and they fire the coach? what?

could motivate the team, but I think it's wrong. The ownership is desperate. They'll lose Ben Sheets and CC at the end of the season, so their pitching will suck next year. Guess they are betting everything on the now, but is the first base coach a better manager than Yost?

  • yeah, theyre really betting the farm.

still seems crazy to me. slumps happen. cubbies just had one too. i would think the last thing you would wanna do is give the players anything else to think about other than performing to the best of their abilities. but who knows, they may start winning ball games and make a run at the perfect time.

    we will see.

Are you trying out for ESPN? ;)

Getting rid of Yost has been on the table since last season.

Strange move but if it kick starts the team/players then I'm all for it.

Football season has taken my eyes off baseball alittle bit. So whatever happens with my Brewers and rest of the season so be it. I'll be rooting for that Chicago team......White Sox. :D
