So quite a few big names out, anyone making any changes in their Playoff/Superbowl choices?

I'm going with Pittsburgh still as the Superbowl champs. They key being health and the o-line being above average throughout the year.

I'm curious to see how Denver plays the next few weeks, they looked better than I thought they'd be, though the Raiders are even worse than I thought they'd be.

Jets vs Patriots, Eagles at Cowboys, Colts at Vikings, Saints at Redskins, Bills at Jaguars, Bears at Panthers, Chargers at Broncos are the games that should tell us something about whose on what level this year.

Also curious if Atlanta will be able to have a strong running game again this weekend.

Let's get worst team in the NFL this year out of the way early with Raiders at Chiefs

My upset pick is Vikings over the Colts. Running game and defense will win out.

What's week 2 to you?

despite being a 6 point dog the Bills should win the game in JAX.....but probably won't.

with Huard in at QB Gonzalez should be a factor and contribute something and i will continue to dominate my FF league.

i'm not sold on Michale Turner just yet. anybody could have had that kind of day against the Lions run D. couple more games and we shall see if he is the real thing....starting with the Bucs.

Pittsburgh has an absolutely brutal schedule....I dunno about them goin to the Super Bowl. The AFC is wide open now that Brady has gone down. I think the Colts bounce back w/ a nice win at Minnesota. Minnesota is getting way, way too much love so far. They have a great D, but Tarvaris Jackson is a shitty QB.

As for the NFC, you gotta go with Dallas at this point. They made a huge statement at Cleveland last week. And we'll be finding out if my Bears are for real this week w/ a tough roadie at Carolina.

    God I love the NFL.

I think this is a big game for New England, pretty much a must win. If they lose badly, might be a long year. I am not sold on Philly until Monday night. Cruching the Rams at Home is one thing. I'll buy in though even if they lose but play well and keep it close. And screw you Andy Reid, who plays their starters in the 4th quarter up 31-3?

And I hope the Steelers beat Clevland 49-0.

i wouldn't say absolutely brutal...i'll go with 'kind of tough'

Browns, Ravens, and Bengals for a total of 6 very winnable games. sorry, none of these teams did much too improve from last season....look how Pitt dismantled all of them last year expect the Ravens the last game of the season when a lot of players were resting.

I agree, the Pat's have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year. Who knows, maybe Brady could make it back for the playoffs?

  • I too think the Rams will end up decent, in the wild card chase. It's laughable now, with 4 wins last year and getting hammered by Philly last week, I know. But this isn't the Chiefs were talking about here...they have some weapons....the O-Line should get better---the defense probably wont.

I also see the Bills in the playoffs, would not have said that a week ago.

    Atlanta = 1 week wonder.

Rams won't even = last years win total IMO

we'll never agree here, I'm betting that the 49ers defense and running game is what I'm betting wins them the game.

Seattle seems to be going the wrong direction...

that's ok, my 49ers are playing somewhat respectable now, and have tied it. Couldn't stand seeing them give another game away like last week. They may not even be a 500 team, but it'd be nice to see them be competent and fight.

Ok, he didn't get the stat numbers I expected but by mid-season he's gonna bulk the numbers up.

  • yes, 49er redemption...great game to watch in the 2nd half. Both teams brought it. Can't believe the 49ers won, they were sacked 8 times, and still able to drive down twice for a game winning field goal, making the 2nd one in OT.

Can't believe the quick whistle in the broncos/chargers game. Denver is lucky, they should have lost, well I guess the charges have 24 seconds still.
Shanahan is a ballsy fucker, going for 2 and the win at home.

maybe we can now get some relief about the NY Bretts, he's not the nyc messiah, lol

I was thinking about applying, I figure a broken, 300lb man has a chance at a job as WR by now with the Seahawks, lol
