Here is the only event I know of on my actual birthday............

I was born on Good Friday and my mother had to finish watching the movie about the crucifiction she was watching.....

which btw was back in the day when you had to catch the tv show on like 2,5,7,9,11,32, or 44. 26 was mostly Spanish, so if she missed this show, she'd be out of luck..........

which explains my sad feeling I get every GoodFriday...........

but then I hear that I was a colic for over a year when I was first born and if I had a dollar for every time she said that she wanted to throw me out the window as a baby, I would be SO RICH!!!!!!!!!!

now, why the hell have I battled self esteem my whole life..........?

    beats me.............
Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on The Creek......

Together we will float like angels.........

In the moment that you left the room, the album started skipping, goodbye to beauty shared with the ones that you love.........

    whoa, that's my dad's b-day too.
there's too many for mine to list :)

This year, Kosovo declared independence from Serbia!

I always remember the first world trade center attack was on 2/26 b/c it's the day after my b-day.

I know at least 5 people who's birthday is on 9/11 and I always think how weird/difficult that must be now.

1983: On the day I was born, the Mariners lost at the Angels 10-5. Leadoff hitter Tony Bernarzard hit a grand slam and drove in all five runs. A guy named Terry Clark started but only lasted two batters because he was ejected for fighting Rod Carew.

1985: On my second birthday, the Mariners rolled to an 11-4 win over the hated (by me) Angels at the Kingdome. Back when pitchers threw complete games, Mark Langston fired a 10-hitter. It was 10-1 through four and pretty easy win.

1991: On my eighth birthday, Edgar Martinez batted leadoff and played third base. Griffey and Buhner each hit two-run home runs in the fifth off Oakland's Dave Stewart. Mariners win it 5-2 and improved to 60-53.

1995: On my 12th birthday, Mickey Mantle died.

1996: On my 13th birthday, Randy Johnson struck out eight in four innings for a save against the Royals.

2003: On my 20th birthday, Ichiro drove in three runs against the Blue Jays.

2004: I don't want to talk about this game.

    (thanks, L-train! :) )
