So I'm in Redmond, WA, outside Seattle on business, and saw a pub called:

Celtic Bayou: Irish BrewPub & Cajun Cafe

What a great concept.

SF has some nice ones, Irish Bank, Kell's, O'Reilly's...

anyone have any great pub's worth mention in there cities...want to get prepared for a possible tour :D

    fiddler's green in winter park/orlando, florida :D

i used to love to go there and play trivia after work...i'm actually sad that i won't be there for st. patty's day this year. they have great beers on tap, good food too. they were featured on food network's "best of" for pub food a few years ago. one of my favorite bars/pubs in all of orlando...bbq bar in downtown will ALWAYS be the best!!

I've got some friends who lived in an absolute disaster of an apartment above an Irish pub called Llewellyn's in St. Louis' Central West End neighborhood. It had a great selection of beer and whiskey and a nice menu featuring homemade chips, all in a cool environment. The interior was all dark, old wood with a huge mantle running behind the bar. There was also a cool outside seating area with shops and museums on both sides of the street.

My friends had to move out of the apartment about 10 years ago because it was probably going to kill them -- the dangerous conditions in the apartment and the living above a bar. Well, that and the fact taht whenever one of them took a shower, water dripped on one of the tables downstairs. I've been there once or twice in the afternoon, but even that's been a few years.

I guess Llewellyn's has been doing pretty well without me.

looks as if a PJ Ireland/Scotland tour needs to happen, a month of shows there only, lol

one show, 5 days off, then another show, 5 days off, and repeat

    Peddler's Daughter in Haverhill, MA
Kitty O'Sheas in Beverly, MA was good as well...crowd changed a bit in the last couple years. Not the quiet dark pub it once used to be.
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

As a barman, I really hope that is not what they serve and call Guiness in the picture towards the bottom of the right page.:eek:

If your ever in County Durham in England a few pubs I would reccomend are:

    The Turks Head
    The Tap and Spile
    and Bacchaus in Darlington.

    The Angel
    O'neills
and The Market Tavern in Durham City.

The Tut and Shive in Bishop Auckland.

And of course The Cobblers Hall in Newton Aycliffe(where I work, come in and say hello:))
Can not be arsed with life no more.

A great pub is a pub with no kitchen.
