  • Someone very close to me went to outpatient rehab....the best thing ever. It's not easy though, there were some relapses. But once you get down to the reason for the drug use, you can see things so much clearer.

I've developed my own drug rehab, I just quit/stop whatever experience I'm having. COLD TURKEY, just like that I've that kind of strength and power to do so. If one has the will to start up a drug issue, one has that same power to end it within themselves.

Have you been thinking about some sort of rehab? We all come to a point realizing that there just might be a problem...look at James Hetfield of you know who.

Just as you can't do brain threads without Ahnimus, you can't do rehab threads without soulsinging. ;)
  • My best friend in college went into rehab. While I'm glad it helped him, it was annoying that they had to mix in religion with the rehab as I didn't care that he was now sober, but rather I got annoyed of how preachy he became.

No but I read about it in "a million little pieces" but a lot of that was bullshit.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I did it. It was either that or die. I appreciate Inside Job more than most, I imagine.

If you go to rehab you won't die? Damn, that's quit the program they are offering... Still, I prefer to get loaded.

I kid, Tish. Some people certainly need it more than others.

I went to rehab, to learn how not to masterbate. It was just once a day but then it started to be like 6 times a day then 14 and it just got out of control. My whole family had an intervention and confronted me and told me I had to go to rehab or I was gonna have to pay to have the walls repainted. J/k Iv never been to rehab.
    I'll be back

This is basically what I was going to say.. I've managed to quit everything I've ever gotten myself into that I wanted to quit or thought was a problem or bad for me.. EXCEPT cigarettes.. That's another story. Well, I did quit them once for 8 months, cold turkey, but then... argh.. that was 14 years ago. =(

    Nevermind.

That was funny and not so funny at the same time. I once smoked for 3 months (went into a depressive state in college over a ex girlfriend) and stopped CT, but I was never a real smoker.

It's never too late cause let me tell you as we get older our bodies just does not hold up or stay as strong as it once did. I'm going through some of that as we speak after many years of atheltic sports.

So consider a focused decision to give it up because it becomes very difficult as we start to age. When you do STAY STRONG, STAND FIRM and good luck.

I quit smoking cold turkey after 8 or 9 years or so. Was extremely easy with a change of environment (quit my job and moved for school).
