lol. i know a lot of chicks who know football. i also know a lot of chicks who dont read (listen).

The whole Green Bay thing I just read...how it should have been them....fuck them. They suck. Giants dominated their sorry asses. Football is all about making plays when it matters most. 3rd downs. Packers got 1 first down in the 4th qtr. thats championship football? give me a break.

Giants played a quality schedule this year (6 fucking games in the NFC east where 3 of 4 teams made the playoffs). For anyone to say they dont belong, they dont know football. Again, broken record here, but they gave GB a game week 2 util they fucked it up, game Dallas a game week one, and had two TD's call back against dallas the second time on BS holding calls, and they lost to the pats because they blitzed a corner and brady hit moss.

The Giants had a knack for giving up the big play at inopportune times during the regular season. they havent done that in the playoffs (except Favre to Driver and that was offensive pass interference), and thats the key in the superbowl.

Take away the big plays and the Giants have as good a shot at winning as the Pats. make the patriots play the game in the middle of the field, where you can smash them after they catch the ball. These teams are evenly matched. and im not comparing brady to manning, I am comparing the giants as a whole to the patriots as a whole (defense, special teams, and offense).

people if belichick knows of a player that is hurting in some way or another he would send the defense after that player in a heart beat ,so why not send the GIANTS d after brady you would have to be an ass not to and i mean just play with in the rules nothing dirty a good sack is ok ,who would of thought that now the PATS are one of the most hated teams in the league .....

Even if Brady gets hurt, the Pats will find a way to win or do you not remember the 2001 season when Brady got hurt before halftime in the AFC championship game. The Pats blocked a field goal and returned it for a td and ran a punt back for a td and held on to win 24-17 to get to the Super Bowl against the Rams.

believe me, the giants want to get pressure on him, regardless if hes got bad wheels or not. the giants will be coming for brady.

he got knocked down 9 times in week 17. expect more of the same. if they leave the TE or RB in to block, thats fine too. the pressure the Giants get will change the way the Patriots play O. I expect 5 wide to be a bit more difficult against a front four that gets pressure. if the patriots compensate with quick hitters and can move the ball, so be it! make them earn the TDs with long time consuming drives. the Giants only need 47 seconds to march. once you get the patriots in the Red Zone you play zone.

all i know is that the pressure to win this game will be all on THE PATS why ? because 18-1 won't be discussed up in NEW ENGLAND 19-0 would be a story for ever , the GIANTS do have pressure but knowhere as intense as THE PATS ....

If the Giants beat them, are they then considered the greatest team in NFL history for beating the "greatest team in NFL history"?

agreed that the pressue is more on the Pats, but, it's always a one and done situation in the playoffs ... at least they've been to the superbowl before ... several times. The Giants have not been ... so, there's pressure there as well.

I would disagree with, if the Giants win, it's the biggest upset in football or sports history ... it would probably end one of the biggest stories in football histroy yes, .... but, it's not a landmark upset like the Jets being 18 point underdogs to the Colts in Superbowl 3 ... or heck, the Pats were a bigger underdog to the Rams ...

I think we all agree, the Giants are a good team.

I think his point is that Coughlin has never been to a Super Bowl and only Toomer and Strahan were on the last Giants team to play in the Super Bowl so there is usually a lot of pressure on a team who has for the most part never been in a Super Bowl.

angry? what? Just because I busted out of my jeans and turned green while posting doesnt mean that I am angry.

dude, I am not angry. if you are reading my posts that way, i guess its the way I write. believe me, it takes a whole hell of a lot to get me angry. to me, this is just fun shit talk before the superbowl. at the end of the day, people can break things down all they want. all that matters is execution. nobody can predict that.

yes, we agree both teams are good. I think they represent the two best teams from each conference. that makes for a great superbowl.

All i am saying is that I hate Rodney Harrison as a football player. I dont know him as a man so I cannot comment on it. He spit in a mans face and is always coming in late spearing guys who were tackled 3 seconds ago. He is always talking trash after every play as well. Thats a dirty player.

exactly ... the CURRENT Giants are not superbowl experienced ...

don't forget, one of the g-men o-line went to the superbowl as well ... on the Pats back in 2001/2. :D

Of course both starters on the right side of the Pats O-Line missed that game as well as their top 2 tight ends, and all are healthy now, so the G-Men may have a bit more trouble pressuring Brady.
